The students of Sainiki School took up small scale vegetable
farming at the hostel campus under Work Experience. A record of nearly 4000 kgs of vegetable was
produced during the session.
Under the
guidance of the hostel warden, the students developed a small farm-field
suitable for vegetable growing and diverted the waste water from the hostel,
which houses 450 students. Apart from
gaining first hand experience of team work, the students extended a helping
hand to the hostel kitchen. Their
project was commended by all.
