Helping hand to the drought stricken

For the Third consecutive year, the Marathawada is experiencing sever water scarcity and unforeseen drought. Especially the Jalna district has registered the lowest rainfall and ridiculously high temperature. Any little help during such crisis proves to be great service to the mankind.

To address the issue at the best of their efforts, the Prayas Sevankur, an NGO from Amravati arranged a Social Service Camp for youth at Ghanewadi (Jalna) between 24th and  28th of April. It was aimed to make the youth know the value of Labour and a taste of Service. A series of inspirational speeches was also arranged to motivate them towards cause.  Contributing our share in it, The SSM sent a team of 35 young men to participate the mission.  The Youth from all over Maharashtra worked hard to de silt the Ghanewadi Lake.  Dr Avinash Sawji, Shri Shyam Deshpande, Shri Rameshbhai Kacholiya, Mrs Meeratai Kacholiya, Dr Avinash powl, Nilima Mishra, Girish Kulkarni and kaka shitole were few of the Elite, present at the camp.
